<Ingenuity of weaver>
Kasuri has a lot of glue and wax on the surface of the thread compared to general textiles. This is for weaving and weaving the warp threads without breaking the handle.
Even so, there are various factors that cause the pattern to shift. Craftsmen who specialize in weaving have acquired the skill of adjusting the pattern while weaving by making fine adjustments, such as manipulating the thread in units of one thread and delaying the progress of the thread.
Within the distance of several tens of centimeters from the beam (the wooden frame around which the warp is wound) until the warp and the weft intersect to form a woven fabric, the progress of the thread is visually measured and adjusted. It is the wisdom accumulated through the experience and intuition peculiar to craftsmen acquired in daily work.
