Reds have a stable demand throughout the year, regardless of whether they are plain or patterned.
However, the production side analyzes that there is a tendency to make a little reddish.
This is because the demand for Kasuri is overwhelmingly higher for navy blue and black.
When the sales floor is filled with navy blue and black, it looks so plain that we want a reddish color. Therefore, it is often judged as an accent color.
Of course, the ratio of each color in the sales composition changes depending on the season and the year, but when viewed relatively, we do not think that it will change much.
Every time I prepare various patterns and solid colors, I prefer to dye black and navy blue, so I will definitely consider red in the second and third categories. I check the stock of fabrics and threads to determine the proportion of dyeing, but red is noticeable both visually good and bad, so I tend to feel a lot even with a little stock. Of course, the inventory will be finalized based on a real number, but it is necessary to stock multiple patterns of reds even if the same reds, such as the texture of the fabric and the type of pattern, so for example, geometrical reds are in stock. However, there is a case where the red pattern with a floral pattern is out of stock. It’s the moment when you feel the importance of inventory management.
