２０１７年から２０１８年にかけて「日本×スウェーデン伝統工芸文化交換プロジェクト」と銘打ってスウェーデン在住の平田章悟さんとLisa Juntunen Roosと様々な取り組みを行いました。その後、平田さんはスウェーデンでアーティスト活動を続けられてます。その２年間の中で下川織物に数回訪問いただき、久留米絣や下川織物で出会ったたくさんの人たちとの出逢いの中で得た多くのインスピレーションで独自のアートワークをスウェーデンで発表されてます。今後のますますのご活躍が楽しみです。
