下川織物の71年の歴史を紐解くと麻の葉柄を色濃く作っていた時代がありました。まだ久留米絣の需要がほぼ着物一辺倒だった昭和時代。それから平成〜令和と時代は変わり、織元の件数も久留米絣の需要も大きく様変わりしました。時代が変わっても麻の葉柄をはじめ久留米絣の定番柄を変わらず作り続けています。
