整経したタテ糸をゆるくしばり部分的に酸化しない箇所を意図的に作ることでグラデーションにしました。久留米絣の特徴でもある「荒巻技法」で経糸を巻くとグラデーションを忠実に織物で表現することが出来ます。 括り(くくり)工程を省いてますが、それ以外は絣職人が久留米絣の製法で作り上げました。これもまた久留米絣です。
