<綜絖の調整>
久留米絣は、基本的に「平織り」です。2枚の綜絖枠で織ります。前後の綜絖の調整が上手くいかないと絣模様がズレて、ギザギザになります。また調整していても経年劣化により、ズレることがあるので、職人は毎日のメンテナンスの中でわずかな感覚の変化を感じ取り、絶えず調整することが求められます。
