<心に響く画を描く>
久留米絣は、専用の図案用紙に図柄を書き起こすところから制作が始まります。元画像はコンピューターグラフィックなどのデジタルツールも充実してきました。shimogawaは職人のこだわりとして図案用紙に書き起こす際は「手書き」で行います。
図案を書いた後の30工程の多くを手仕事で行うことを考えたときに「人の手で描かれた線を織物で表現する」ことを常に意識しています。
