経糸を４分割して整経して、天然の藍でグラデーション染めしました。荒巻技法で経糸を巻くことで、グラデーションをそのまま生地の上で表現することができます。久留米絣の特徴である括り技法は、用いていませんが、それ以外は久留米絣の伝統的な技法、工程に沿って作っています。これも久留米絣としての一つの表現方法。
