久留米絣は、括り、染色、糊付け作業の中で天日干し作業を複数回繰り返す必要があるため、適度に晴天を欲します。近年は想定外の天候が続くこともあり糸干し作業が予定通りにいかないことも多いですが職人として、日々の準備を怠らず、その日その瞬間にベストを尽くします。
