経糸のグラデーション染め。60/2という番手は久留米絣で使用する糸番手（太さ）の中にあっては、一番細い糸になります。特徴は光沢感です。一般的には糸が細くなると糸質がよくなります。染料の吸収が良いので発色がよいです。藍染めの繊細のグラデーションの表現が活きます。これから仕上げのために糊付けをして外に引っ張って干すことになります。
