こちらも十字柄と同じく定番柄。通称「ずらし柄」。十字柄同様、うなぎの寝床さんのもんぺ柄として定着した人気柄でもあります。人目を引く奇抜な色、柄も魅力的ですが、日常の中で使いまわせるオーソドックスな色、柄もまた魅力です。久留米絣としての存在感も保ちつつ、あまり出しゃばりすぎないバランス感がこの柄の魅力の一つでもあると言えます。
