「括り工程」のプロセス。写真は、ヨコ糸です。一つの束で３反分の量があります。重さにして１キロちょっと。
こちらは、別の柄の緯糸ですが、括りの後、染色を終えて、糊付けしたのち、天日干ししているところ。緯糸は一切テンションをかけずに竹の竿に広げて干します。
また別の柄になりますが、写真はタテ糸です。括り糸を解いた直後。糊付けして糸の束を固めて解くことで柄が乱れずに解くことができます。括りの分量や長さに応じて糊の濃度を調整しています。
