<Indigo gradation dyeing>
The warp threads are dyed in indigo in a gradation. I always have multiple ideas for this.
Indigo is generally dyed by a method called “Kasezome”. A certain number of threads are squeezed into a ring and dyed with fermented indigo. The shade of blue is expressed by the number of dyeings.
In the case of plain dyeing, the technique of how to dye evenly is required. In this case, we made indigo threads with a gradation of light green to dark blue and three levels of dyeing, and arranged them on the warp threads.
