The pattern is designed with 4 types of Kukuri patterns. In the first design, I tried to make a dot pattern by spreading it evenly from the center to the outside.
On the other hand, at Kurume Kasuri, there is also the idea of making a pattern by aligning the starting points when working on “Tomeawase”. Kurume Kasuri is not done by one craftsman from the beginning to the end, but there is a specialized craftsman for each process and it is made by multiple “craftsman relays”.
There were two options in the “Tomeawase” process, but as a result, I decided to make both patterns because of the preparation.
