A day of Master(Improving the efficiency of craftsmen)

<Pursuit of efficiency>

The Kasuri pattern in the photo consists of two types of Kukuri patterns. You can make the pattern look complicated by shifting the pattern called “Gunoma”, but in order to configure the pattern with as few Kukuri patterns as possible, you have to modify the spacing of Kukuri and the layout of the pattern to improve the efficiency of warping. Finally, we will finish the pattern with consideration.

When using multiple Kukuri patterns in one pattern, it is rare to use the same number of all patterns evenly. Extreme cases may occur, such as when a larger number is needed or when a smaller number is needed.

However, in the warp Kukuri process, the Kukuri work needs to be performed with the same number or a similar number, so that a pattern that requires only a small amount in the pattern results in a surplus. In order to prevent this excess part from appearing as much as possible, we will modify it again to a pattern that considers “Kukuri efficiency”.

Although “warping and improving Kukuri’s efficiency” is an invisible area, we spend a considerable amount of time trying and making mistakes.
