市松柄の久留米絣。
このレバーで織機を運転させます。
「トング」と呼んでる板状の
木管に絣のヨコ糸を巻いて織ります。
1本の管で織れる長さは20センチ程度。
柄合わせに気を使いながら
管の入れ替えをしながら
織っていくので一日に織れる長さは
平均で２０メートルくらいです。
タテ糸には、黒白の小柄を入れてみました。
