平織りの構造上、経糸と緯糸は1:1の割合で交差します。配色に関しては色の組み合わせで経糸がより反映される場合と緯糸が反映される場合に分かれます。職人として個人的に興味があるのは経糸と緯糸が同じ強さで混ざり合ったときに見える色を追求して表現することです。
