経糸は白とピンクのストライプ。専用の図案用紙に描いた図柄に基づいて括り技法で染め分けた絣糸を緯糸に用いて、経糸と緯糸が重なったときに浮かび上がる模様。平織りのため織物自体はプレーンな構造ですが、絣技術の特性を活かしてギンガムチェックと七宝柄の二重構造の柄を構築しています。設計士としてのアイデアと職人としての技術力の融合。
