久留米絣の織機は、土台の鋳物をベースに革ベルト、ステッキなどの木製パーツ、紐(綿、麻など)ステンレス、鉄製のネジなど大小さまざまな部品の集合体。職人は自ら分解、組み立てが出来るほど使いこなせる技術を自らの経験と知恵を積み上げて習得する必要があります。
