荒巻皇帝（あらまきこうてい）における工夫。荒巻工程は、絣糸と地糸をが図案通りに配列して巻き上げる作業工程。金オサに４本単位で糸を落とし込みます。基本的には、まず地糸を並べてその上に絣糸を落とし込みます。絣糸の柄の並びを微調整しながら巻いていく必要があるためにこういった細かい作業の順番は重要になります。
