黒の地糸の中に8列のグラデーションストライプをデザインしました。グラデーションの部分は下染めとして「泥染め」を施し、その上に藍染めのグラデーションをかけた2度染め。これらの経糸は60/2という細番手を使いました。細番手糸は染料の吸収がよく光沢感が出るという特徴を持っています。そのため泥藍染めのグラデーションの繊細さを表現することができます。
