括り工程を終えた絣糸を干しています。柄になる部分を縛っている「括り糸」には糊がついているため、括り終えたら、糸を輪状に手繰って、さおに干してよく乾かします。括り作業に糊付けは欠かせませんが、濡れたまま放置しておくと腐敗が進むので、よく乾燥させて腐敗を防ぎ、染色工程へと進みます。
