Kurume Kasuri has a “dot pattern” that has been often made for a long time. The “Ichimatsu pattern”, which has also been made for a long time, has been mainly made by the double ikat technique. Both are popular standard patterns.
“Dot ichimatsu” was born from the idea of combining these two patterns. I can also adjust the size of the pattern by changing the Kukuri pattern. The color development expands infinitely by changing the dyeing of the warp and weft.
By applying this idea, I can make other patterns such as “Dot yagasuri”.
