Single ikat KURUME KASURI
By technique of the “KUKURI”,We can express various patterns.
We introduce a part of the process of manufacture.
The KASURI yarn which I dyed partly in a design by “KUKURI”tecnique.
I dyed a KASURI yarn and the based yarn of the pattern.
I match a cloth with KASURI yarn with a based yarn.
“ARAMAKI” progress of work
I divide each thread according to design.
I roll it up carefully.
While I weave it,some patterns slip off.
So,I weave it while adjusting it.
I can weave it only to four per person.
There are other processes in all more than 30.
It becomes the cloth for three~four months.
