立絣の最終仕上げ工程。柄の部分の糸本数は、約300本。機械的な圧力をほぼ加えずにここまできたので、厳密に言えば、テンションにムラがあります。「留合わせ」と職人が呼ぶ作業で等間隔に糸を縛って柄がずれるのを防いでます。その上で濡らした糸を引っ張って乾かすことで全体のテンションを整える作業工程。
