BUNJIN KASURI making
BUNJIN KASURI fabric used to be for male Japanease KIMONO style.
A fabric with a small pattern woven using “ORINUKI” technique.
It is machine texture,but weaves it at the same speed if handwoven.
Dye white fabric indigo.
Untie dyed fabric in twenty strands of yarn.
It makes pattern of indigo and white.
Pasting,warping,wind up a thead and so on,I perfom it almost by hand.
It takes it until completion more than two months.
Nowadays only about five textile manufactures have inherited this technique.
